Welcome to Superb ...

While we don't have a date for the founding of Superb, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1956.

Superb is 2,490 feet [759 m] above sea level.<1> In other words, the altitude of Superb is about ½ mile above sea level.

Time Zone: Superb lies in the Central Standard Time Zone (CST) and does not observe daylight saving time. The time zone in French: CST- Heure Normale du Centre (HNC).

Note: If you travel west from Superb (for example, toward Consort (AB)), you will soon leave Central Standard Time and cross into the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT). In addition, you will be moving from an area that does not observe daylight saving time to one that does.

<1>	The elevation is an estimate for the area around Superb - it will be higher in some places and lower in others.
<2>	When there's a risk of an area code running out of phone numbers, an 'Overlay Area Code' is created that has the same geographic boundaries as the existing area code. In this case, the 306 code has been Overlayed with one of the following codes: 474 or 639. New phone numbers in the Superb area will be assigned with one of these codes: 306, 474 or 639. As a result, placing a call in the Superb area will require 10-digit dialing (where you enter both the area code and then the phone number).
<3>	An 'estimated' location is one where we have been given GPS coordinates, but are unable to verify the accuracy of those coordinates. That said, we have some confidence that we have placed the marker near the actual location.
