Caleb would have been located within present day Wheeler County<2>.
The location of Caleb has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>
While we don't have a date for the founding of Caleb, you might consider that their post office opened in 1884.
While the community is gone, the present day location for Caleb is 3,840 feet [1,170 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Caleb is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.
Time Zone: The area where Caleb was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time
If Caleb still existed, it would have been in the (541) & (458)<5> area codes.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Caleb was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>
From that list, the Caleb post office opened in 1884.
