From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Wintersburg was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Wintersburg post office opened in 1931.

We also found Wintersburg on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for Arizona (1956).
