Welcome to Sunshine ...

So far, we found very little information about Sunshine. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Sunshine would have been located within present day Tooele County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Sunshine, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1896.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Utah communities named Sunshine: This one is located in Tooele County and the other is located in Davis County.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.
