Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Midway had an population of 5,300 people. This is an increase of 37.84% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 149.88% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Midway had a population of 3,845 people (or 16.34% of the total population of Wasatch County). This makes Midway the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Midway represents 0.14% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 89th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 3,845 people, the population of Midway increased 81.28% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 2,121 people).
