At the time of the 2010 Census, Alpine had a population of 9,555 people. This makes Alpine the county's 14th most populous community.

The population of Alpine represents 0.35% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 51st most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 9,555 people, the population of Alpine increased 33.71% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 7,146 people).
