At the time of the 2010 Census, West Jordan had a population of 103,712 people (or 10.07% of the total population of Salt Lake County). This makes West Jordan the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of West Jordan represents 3.75% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 103,712 people, the population of West Jordan increased 51.77% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 68,336 people).
