Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cicero had an population of 30,775 people. This is a decrease of 2.71% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 9.98% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, the Town of Cicero had a population of 31,632 people (which is 6.77% of the total population of Onondaga County). This makes Cicero the county's 5th most populous community.

The population of Cicero represents 0.16% of the total population of New York (which has 19,378,102 people), making it the state's 68th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 31,632 people, the population of Cicero increased 13.04% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 27,982 people).
