From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ardsley-on-Hudson was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Ardsley-on-Hudson post office opened in 1897.

We also found Ardsley-on-Hudson mentioned on a train schedule titled New York Central Railroad Time Table (July 1902).
