At the time of the 2010 Census, Kennesaw had a population of 29,783 people. This makes Kennesaw the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Kennesaw represents 0.31% of the total population of Georgia (which has 9,687,653 people), making it the state's 24th most populous community.
