How Far From Hatton to ...
We spend a lot of time looking through Gazetteers that were published in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Many of the Gazetteers include the distance from a community such as Hatton to various places of note, such as the White House.
With a nod to our favorite Gazetteers and using the location of where the historic<5> community of Hatton once stood, the straight-line distance beginning in Hatton and extending to:
- Waupaca, which is the Seat of Waupaca County, lies just to the North Northwest.
- Madison, which is the State Capital of Wisconsin, lies 84 miles [135.2 km]<1> to the south southwest (SSW). If you could drive a straight line from Hatton to Madison, with an average speed<6>of 63 miles [101.4 km] per hour, it would take less than two hours to make the trip.
