While we don't have a date for the founding of White Canyon, you might consider that their post office opened in 1952. A typical abbreviation for White Canyon: White Cyn. While the community is gone, the present day location for White Canyon is 3,700 feet [1,128 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of White Canyon is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.
