Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Heber City had an population of 17,139 people. This is an increase of 50.84% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 135.07% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Heber City had a population of 11,362 people (or 48.29% of the total population of Wasatch County). This makes Heber City the county's most populous community.

The population of Heber City represents 0.41% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 46th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 11,362 people, the population of Heber City increased 55.84% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 7,291 people).
