While we don't have a date for the founding of Cuthbert, you might consider that their post office opened in 1891. While the community is gone, the present day location for Cuthbert is 2,250 feet [686 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Cuthbert is about ½ mile above sea level.
