At the time of the 2010 Census, Farragut had a population of 20,676 people. This makes Farragut the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Farragut represents 0.33% of the population of Tennessee (which has 6,346,105 people), making it the state's 30th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 20,676 people, the population of Farragut increased 16.68% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 17,720 people).
