While we don't have a date for the founding of Zell, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1885.

From the 2010 Census (the most recent Census number we have), Zell had a population of 64 people.<3> (see below for details).

We originally found mention of Zell in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Zell was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Zell post office opened in 1885.

We also found Zell in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
