The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Cebu to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Cebu has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Cebu, you might consider that their post office opened in 1902. While the community is gone, the present day location for Cebu is 60 feet [18 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Cebu was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Cebu still existed, it would have been in the (843) area code.
