Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Warwick had an population of 80,974 people. This is a decrease of 2.05% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 5.63% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Warwick had a population of 82,672 people (which is 49.79% of the total population of Kent County). This makes Warwick the county's most populous community.

The population of Warwick represents 7.85% of the total population of Rhode Island (which has 1,052,567 people), making it the state's 2nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 82,672 people, the population of Warwick decreased 3.65% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 85,808 people).
