Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Hamill other than they indicate that Hamill would be found somewhere in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1879 and closed in 1907. Communities Also Named Hamill ...We found two communities that share the name Hamill. Within Pennsylvania, the name Hamill is unique. Beyond Pennsylvania, we know of another two communities that are located throughout in the United States.
