So far, we found very little information about Fair Play. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We originally found mention of Fair Play in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Fair Play was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Fair Play post office opened in 1879.

We also found Fair Play in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
