Welcome to Lobo ...So far, we found very little information about Lobo. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Lobo to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have a date for the founding of Lobo, you might consider that their post office opened in 1905. While the community is gone, the present day location for Lobo is 8,310 feet [2,533 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Lobo is about 1½ mile [or ~2½ km] above sea level.
