White House is located on the southeast coast of Labrador (on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence at the Strait of Belle Isle).
Time Zone: White House lies in the Newfoundland Time Zone (NST/NDT) and observes daylight saving time. The time zone in French: NST- Heure Normale de Terre-Neuve (HNT), NDT- Heure Avancée de Terre-Neuve (HAT).
Note: If you travel west from White House (for example, toward Bonne Esperance (QC)), you will soon leave Newfoundland Time and cross into the Atlantic Standard Time Zone (AST). In addition, you will be moving from an area that observes daylight saving time to one that does not.
Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 12 communities that are also named White House - they are located in Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, Pennsylvania (2), Tennessee, Utah and Virginia (4).
