The coastal town of Pinware is located on the southeast coast of Labrador (on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence at the Strait of Belle Isle) - near the mouth of the Pinware River.
From the 2006 Statistics Canada (StatCan) census, Pinware had a population of 114 people.<1>
Pinware was originally named Riviere des Francois.
