At the time of the 2010 Census, Bridgewater had a population of 1,083 people. This makes Bridgewater the county's 23rd most populous community.

The population of Bridgewater represents 0.08% of the total population of New Hampshire (which has 1,316,470 people), making it the state's 184th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,083 people, the population of Bridgewater increased 11.19% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 974 people).
