From our notes, the earliest published mention that we've found for Swepsonville was the List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8> From that list, the Swepsonville post office opened in 1878.

We also found Swepsonville in the Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
