At the time of the 2010 Census, Livonia had a population of 96,942 people (or 5.32% of the total population of Wayne County). This makes Livonia the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Livonia represents 0.98% of the total population of Michigan (which has 9,883,640 people), making it the state's 9th most populous community.
