At the time of the 2010 Census, Eagle had a population of 123 people. This makes Eagle the county's 8th most populous community.

We originally found mention of Eagle in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Eagle was on a map titled Road Map for Michigan (from Shell Oil, 1956).

We also found Eagle in the book titled .<7> From that list, the Eagle post office opened in 1842.
