Welcome to Cady (aka 'Cady's Corner') ...

So far, we found very little information about Cady. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Cady to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. If you can help us with Cady, please Contact Us.

Cady would have been located within present day Macomb County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Cady, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1864.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Cady is 610 feet [186 m] above sea level.<3>.

Time Zone: The area where Cady was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

The community of Cady has also been called Cady's Corner.

We originally found mention of Cady in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cady was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

X2X - From that list, the Cady post office opened in 1864.

We also found Cady in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
