Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Horace had an population of 67 people. This is a decrease of 4.29% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 53.15% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Horace had a population of 70 people (or 5.56% of the total population of Greeley County). This makes Horace the county's 2nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 70 people, the population of Horace decreased 51.05% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 143 people).

We originally found mention of Horace in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found (so far) for Horace was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Horace post office opened in 1886. The Horace post office closed in 1965.
