Welcome to Dome ...So far, we found very little information about Dome. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Dome to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. If you can help us with Dome, please Contact Us. Dome would have been located within present day Yuma County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Dome, you might consider that their post office opened in 1892. While the community is gone, the present day location for Dome is 190 feet [58 m] above sea level.<3>. Time Zone: The area where Dome was located is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST) and does not observe daylight saving time Note: If you travel west from Dome, you will soon leave Mountain Standard Time and cross into the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT). In addition, you will be moving from an area that does not observe daylight saving time to one that does. The location where Dome once stood is in the (928) area code.
