From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for North Scituate was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the North Scituate post office opened in 1819.

We also found North Scituate in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
