The location of Uvada has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Uvada, you might consider that their post office opened in 1928. While the community is gone, the present day location for Uvada is 6,050 feet [1,844 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Uvada is about 1¼ mile [or ~1¾ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Uvada was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time If Uvada still existed, it would have been in the (775) area code.
