Welcome to Natal ...So far, we found very little information about Natal. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Natal to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We aren't confident of the location of Natal, so consider the above location as an estimate.<2> While we don't have a date for the founding of Natal, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1925. While the community is gone, the present day location for Natal is 4,180 feet [1,274 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Natal is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Natal was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time. The time zone in French: MST- Heure Normale des Rocheuses (HNR). Note: If you leave Natal and travel west, you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT). The location where Natal once stood is in the (250) and (778)<4> area codes.
