From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Himes was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

X2X - From that list, the Himes post office opened in 1908.

We also found Himes on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for Wyoming (1956).
