Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Kilmarnock had an population of 1,400 people. This is a decrease of 5.85% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 12.54% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Kilmarnock had a population of 1,487 people (or 13.05% of the total population of Lancaster County). This makes Kilmarnock the county's most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Kilmarnock was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Kilmarnock post office opened in 1804.

We also found Kilmarnock in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
