While we don't have a date for the founding of Watson, you might consider that their post office opened in 1913. While the community is gone, the present day location for Watson is 5,350 feet [1,631 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Watson is 1 mile [or ~1¾ km] above sea level.
