Welcome to Saltair ...So far, we found very little information about Saltair. While we don't have a date for the founding of Saltair, you might consider that their post office opened in 1903. While the community is gone, the present day location for Saltair is 4,210 feet [1,283 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Saltair is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.
