While the community is gone, the present day location for Paria is 4,740 feet [1,445 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Paria is about ¾ mile [or ~1½ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Paria was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you travel south from Paria, you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST).
