Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Ballard had an population of 1,094 people. This is an increase of 36.58% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 93.29% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ballard had a population of 801 people. This makes Ballard the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Ballard represents 0.03% of the population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 153rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 801 people, the population of Ballard increased 41.52% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 566 people).
