So far, we found very little information about Pinery. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Pinery was located in Big Bend Country (West Texas).

Pinery would have been located within present day Culberson County<2>.

The location of Pinery has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>

While the community is gone, the present day location for Pinery is 5,650 feet [1,722 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Pinery is about 1 mile [or ~1¾ km] above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Pinery was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Note: If you travel west from Pinery (for example, toward Dell City), you will leave Central Time and cross into the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT).

If Pinery still existed, it would have been in the (915) area code.
