Ochoa was located in Big Bend Country (West Texas).

Ochoa would have been located within present day Presidio County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Ochoa, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Ochoa is 2,620 feet [799 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Ochoa is ½ mile above sea level.
