While we don't have a date for the founding of Lobo, you might consider that their post office opened in 1907. While the community is gone, the present day location for Lobo is 4,030 feet [1,228 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Lobo is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Lobo was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you leave Lobo and travel west, you will leave Central Time and cross into the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT).
