The city of Cove is located on the Gulf Coast.

The location of Cove has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<2>


While we don't have a date for the founding of Cove, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1894.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Cove has a population of 557 people<3> (see below for details).

The community of Cove is near sea level<4>.

Time Zone: Cove lies in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Population Details ...

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cove had an population of 557 people. This is an increase of 9.22% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 72.45% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Cove had a population of 510 people. This makes Cove the county's 5th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 510 people, the population of Cove increased 57.89% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 323 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cove was on a map titled Map of Texas (from Rand McNally, 1911).

We also found Cove in the book titled .<6> From that list, the Cove post office opened in 1894.
