At the time of the 2010 Census, Como had a population of 702 people. This makes Como the county's 3rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 702 people, the population of Como increased 13.04% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 621 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Como was on a map titled Map of Texas (from Rand McNally, 1911).

We also found Como in the book titled .<8> From that list, the Como post office opened in 1894.
