The Commemorative Quarter for Texas

Do you know of Ashworth ???

When we encounter a name that is new to us, we add it to our Gazetteer - that's the case with Ashworth.

This entry has been created as a placeholder - we hope to develop more information in the future.

This entry could be in error. It might be that our source had a mis-print, was simply wrong or we made a transcription error while referencing it. We hope to learn more about Ashworth in the future.

We found mention of Ashworth as a post office, but can't determine its location - other than being located somewhere in Kaufman County, Texas.

It's common that the post office is named the same as the community in which it's located (although that's not always case). In this case, we can't match this post office to any of the existing communities in our gazetteer.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Ashworth, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1886.
