<1>	While New Hope is in the Central Time Zone, the area to the east is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT).

In this case, the 423 code has been Overlayed with the 729 area code. New phone numbers in the New Hope area will be assigned with one of these codes: 423 or 729. As a result, placing a call in the New Hope area will require 10-digit dialing (where you enter both the area code and then the phone number).
