Sequatchie County was founded in 1857. Sequatchie was created by taking area from Hamilton, Marion and Warren Counties. From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Sequatchie had a population of 15,071 people. This is an increase of 6.8% since the last Census (which gave a population of 14,112 people in 2010).
