From our notes, the earliest published mention that we've found for Decaturville was the List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8> From that list, the Decaturville post office opened in 1847.

We also found Decaturville in the Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
