The location of Terry has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Terry, you might consider that their post office opened in 1899. While the community is gone, the present day location for Terry is 1,140 feet [347 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Terry was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Terry still existed, it would have been in the (864) area code.
