From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Sullivan's Island was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Sullivan's Island post office opened in 1950.

We also found Sullivan's Island on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for South Carolina (1956).
